On the outskirts of Woburn Sands, this famous lake has seen many famous anglers over the years. Like many carp lakes a good number of the known fish are affectionately named! This lake is really something to look at and has built its reputation over many years of producing some fantastic fish. Although predominantly a specialist carp lake, there are some excellent tench, bream and pike in this venue. The carp go to mid thirties and are stunning fish. The Club introduced some stockies a couple of years back and they are growing extremely quickly with 10lb fish now doubling their weight, a good mix of commons and mirrors. The lake is around 5 acres in size and is very deep.
