The Club continues to try and sustain / improve both fishing and venues on behalf of our members. Once again around £8500 has been spent on fish stock. Roach, rudd, bream, tench and some carp have all been stocked in the last two months. Woodlands at Tingrith has had some beautiful young tench, roach and rudd, which will improve the all year round fishing at this lake. On a different note, we are planning to lower the level of Woodlands over the next couple of weeks, making the platforms easily accessible again. Sharnbrook pits has also been stocked with tench, bream and carp.
The Club has also made some serious investments in equipment, with a boat, petrol engine and electric weed cutter, a brush cutting machine, a large petrol mowing machine, chainsaws etc etc. All kept at a paid for secure store in a specialised facility to ensure their safeguard.
The Club is trying extremely hard on behalf of its members but as usual we could always use more help to make sure that venues are kept in tip top condition. If you are able to give back just a few hours of your time, it can make a serious difference, please contact the Club if you are willing to help.
