Covid 19 – Club Statement
Given the worsening situation, we firstly hope that our members are safe and well. Please read and comply with the points below.
a) Do not congregate on the bankside.
b) Do not approach any other angler, always maintain a minimum of two metres between yourself and anyone else.
c) Carry soap and water or alcohol gel to use after opening gates and locks.
d) The toilet at Tingrith will be either removed or not usable until it is safe to do so.
e) If possible do not use the metal handrails on the Tingrith bridges, the virus has a long lifetime on metals.
f) There will be no work parties for the forseeable future.
g) There will be no matches for the forseeable future.
h) Books for next season will be sent for print and even if tackle shops are closed, will be available via the Clubs website.
i) Bailiffs may still ask to see your book from a safe distance, please hold your book up, state your name and book number.
j) Ensure that you leave nothing on the bank.
There maybe further restrictions at some point, so please check back from time to time. Please do everything to keep both yourself and others safe.
