River Ouse - Bedfordshire

Radwell, Sharnbrook

A very natural and scenic part of the Ouse with gravel runs and deeper glides. Large Barbel to 19lb are present with a reasonable mix of other fish. This water is situated north of Bedford and often features in the Angling Times for barbel.

 

 

Stanton Harcourt - Oxfordshire

A good sized gravel pit with tench and carp. The carp have been caught up to 40lb,although the lake contains a very mixed size which is good news, as it shows breeding is taking place. Popular with specimen hunters. About 50 pegs.

Sharnbrook Pits - Bedfordshire

6 gravel pits of varying size, with carp, tench, bream, roach and pike. Pit No 2 is now stocked with very large bream as reported in the Angling Times . The bream are up to 14lb, with plenty of tench and big carp. About 150 pegs.

Tingrith Manor - Bedfordshire

A small lake near Junction 12, M1. Full of carp up to 15lb. Large catches of carp are taken throughout the season which makes this water very popular. About 25 pegs.
